Berjesty Kozanoglu, UX Leader @Cineplex ex Shopify

Berjesty currently works at Cineplex and Ex Shopify leading UX teams working on immersive applications. 

She is a digital design and product strategist, with a wealth of experience running in-house design teams. She is leading a multidisciplinary User Experience team at Cineplex and Shopify, focusing on helping Canadians to have entertainment experiences beyond movies on digital platforms. 

Before moving to Shopify, Berjesty lead UX teams for Telus Digital and Scotiabank. She taught as a lead UX professor at General Assembly in Toronto for 2+ years while helping startups to scale.  

Berjesty worked at Telus Digital for 2+ years, leading and delivering design solutions for digital products in My Telus website and app. Prior to Telus Digital, Berjesty managed multidisciplinary teams at Scotiabank for 7+ years designing digital products for multiple teams across the bank. 

Berjesty has a Masters specializing in User Experience Design and Information Systems Design from University of Toronto. She is a passionate technophile, operates at a strategic level, helping organizations to achieve business goals with high-performing design teams.
